In a recent episode of Synergy with MeKila, I heard MeKila offer up this little pearl of wisdom: "Pain happens. Suffering's optional."
It struck me as being one of those little nuggets of truth that needed to have a little more air time.
If you've been in life longer than a few minutes, you no doubt have figured out that pain happens. Its a part of life. We all experience it. Even those of us who are masters at keeping positive and happy and maintaining a high vibration will experience pain. Perhaps not as much or as often, but . . . Read More Here: Pain Happens. Something came across my desktop this week that really jumped out at me. There are people who consider themselves leaders in the spiritual movement who apparently still believe in the need for external validation.
This one in particular is a well-known personality, having starred in a number of movies within the spiritual genre, and having authored a large number of books on the subject, and is co-presenting a training product that leads to certification in the Law of Attraction. My goal in creating this blog is, first and foremost, to experience joy. I am a man on a spiritual path and I have rediscovered a very simple yet powerful truth: we're supposed to be happy.
I don't mean happy, as in happy the way most people I see claim, unconvincingly, to be happy.
