Wonder

Rev. Rita MeKila Herring Universal Brotherhood Movement

Ahhh to awaken in the morning with a sense of wonder … is there anything like it? We see it in the eyes of children. We see it in their approach of newness to everything. Do you remember what that was like?

When we approach things with wonder, we allow them to be whatever they truly are. We don’t have concrete opinions formed in our minds of what they are. With wonder we are open to seeing how God is expressing in every moment through every thing. Wonder keeps us in a   . . .   Read More Here: Wonder

Blindness

Rev. Rita MeKila Herring Universal Brotherhood Movement

Blindness can encompass much more than just whether or not we have physical sight. Often times those without physical sight are far more sensitive and actually “see” more than those of us blessed with the gift of sight. Flexibility

Rev. Rita MeKila Herring Universal Brotherhood Movement

When we are fixated on particular outcomes and they don’t happen just the way we think they should, we build up resistance. That’s where the struggle begins. Before you know it, you feel like you’re paddling up stream.
